Assistant Cashier

This is a part-time role providing support Monday to Friday to the Head Cashier and holiday cover in her absence (hours by arrangement but a minimum of 5 per day will normally be required). Tasks include -

Accounts transactions as required by the Solicitors Accounts Rules

File opening procedures

Files closing procedures

Deed management

Time recording entries

Filing

Miscellaneous administrative tasks

Previous experience woud be preferred but full training will be given in any event. Salary will be commensurate with experience and ability.

Administration Assistant

This is a fixed term six-month contract to commence in September 2008 with the possibility of renewal for a further six months. We are looking for a suitably qualified or experienced person to continue our ongoing deeds review process. Knowledge of deeds storage requirements would be an advantage, however full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Hours of work will be 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
