We have experience in advising and liaising with relevant professionals and other organisations (including HM Revenue and Customs service) when it comes to dealing with employee benefits. We can also draft all the necessary paperwork and contractual documentation to put a variety of employee benefits in place in the most tax efficient way. We have a number of contacts with tax and financial planning advisors and we ensure all our clients get the best advice whether or not it is purely legal.
We can draft all the necessary documentation to set up tax efficient employee share option schemes and have done so on numerous occasions as part of commercial venturing transactions. Businesses need to also be aware of the legal and tax implications of other employee benefits, such as beneficial loans, benefits in kind, bonuses. We are aware of all the relevant implications, consequences and ensure our clients are given the best possible advice, documents to help them with their business.
We are able to advise on bonus and incentive schemes, provide information on the tax and national insurance treatment of non cash benefits such as medical health insurance, company cars and the provision of fuel for private use. We can offer information and guidance on 'indirect' cash benefits such as relocation expenses, childcare vouchers and on newly introduced schemes such as the home computing initiative (HCI schemes - enabled by the government's tax exemption on loaned computers). We keep ourselves up to date with all employment law matters through access to a number of specialised publications, subscription to web based resources and attending regular training courses.
